Civil Engineer-P.E.


Position Summary:

Our Honolulu office has a job opportunity for a self-motivated professional engineer to join the team. This person will work on a variety of civil engineering projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous contract documents and deliverables
  • Ensure proper and timely execution on projects
  • Help mentor junior level staff members
  • Successfully manage and deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Utilize internal project management tools and resources
  • Provide marketing and technical support
  • Evaluates the effect of adopting new methods and procedures on the work process
  • Feasibility and research studies
  • Coordinates work activities with those of other divisions, departments and agencies
  • Able to present and speak for the department at meetings and conferences


  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
  • Professional Engineering registration.
  • We are looking for an engineer with a minimum of 5 years of increasingly-responsible experience.
  • The candidate should have the ability to successfully manage projects and help mentor junior staff as applicable.
  • Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually are required.
  • Candidate should be versatile and interested in working on a variety projects.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills required.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented and be able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Previous business development experience (writing winning proposals and successfully pursuing work) is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
